Stary stary night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer`s day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
In colors on the snowy linen land

별이 총총한 밤
파랑, 회색으로 팔레트를 물들이고
여름날, 내 영혼의 어두운 면을
꿰 뚫는 눈으로 밖을 바라봐요.
언덕에 드리운 그림자.
나무와 수선화를 스케치하고
눈처럼 하얀 리넨 캔버스에
미풍과 겨울의 싸늘함을
색깔로 그려내요


Now I undrstand
What you tired to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen did not know how

당신이 뭘 말하려 했는지
난 이제 알 것 같아요
온전한 정신은 찾으려
당신이 얼마나 고통서러워했는지
사람들을 자유롭게 하려고 얼마나 노력했는지
사람들은 들으려 하지 않았죠
어떻게 듣는지도 몰랐죠
아마도 지금은 귀를 기울일 거예요

Swirling in Vincent`s eyes of China blue
Colors changig hue
Morning field of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain are soothed
Beneath artist`s loving hand

별이 총총한 밤
밝게 타오르는 듯 활짝 피어난 꽃과
보랏빛 안개 속에서 소용돌이치는 구름이
빈센트의 파아란
눈망울에 비쳐요
곡식이 익는 황금빛의
아침 들판으로 색은 바뀌고
고통으로 주름진 지친 얼굴은
예술가의 사랑스런 솜씨로 위로 받아요
