Virginia Wynette Pugh라는 본명을 가진

여가수 Tammy Wynette은
1942년에 태어났으며 17세 되던 해에 결혼을 하고,
66년에 발표된 "Apartment 9"을 처음으로 히트시킵니다.
이어 "Apartment"와 "Your good girl's gonna go nad"를
히트시킨 후 "Stand by your man"을 전국적으로

대히트 시킨 것을 다 아실 줄 압니다.

이 곡은 컨트리 음악계의

first lady로 불리워지는 테미와넷이
작사가 빌리쉐리의 도움을

받아 직접 만든 곡으로1969년 말에
테미가 발표하여 차트 19위까지 올랐었습니다.
그녀는 98년 병으로 사망을 하게 되었죠.
